Examining the Deceptive Practices of Accessibility Overlay Tools
This article intends to examine the user interface (UI) design strategies of accessibility overlay tools, and their implications on the access of internet for people with disabilities.
In this paper, we evaluate six hundred websites for autism friendliness across four primary categories including: (Autism Focused, U.S. Federal, Google Autism Search, and Alexa Rating).
We show that font and animation are significant features with respect to the Website ASD Rating score.
